November 22, 1986: Mike Tyson becomes the youngest world heavyweight boxing champion by defeating Trevor Berbick.
Aged 20 years and six months, the American knocked down his opponent midway through the second round.
Berbick stumbled to his feet, before falling into the ropes. He managed to get back up once again, but the referee said enough was enough and history was made with Tyson taking the WBC heavyweight belt.
Now 50, Tyson has a glittering boxing career behind him, having taken the WBC, WBA and IBF belts in a boxing era with the likes of Frank Bruno, Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield.
His final career record was 50 wins [44 KOs] and six defeats [five KOs].
